Isaac does the 3 Yorkshire peaks! , 28 April 2021
We raise funds to support Hull Hospitals to enhance and enrich patient experiences

Story

Isaac is now 7 years old and has always enjoyed family walks with our dogs, Alfie and Arlo. Our daily walks became even more important during the first lockdown, and Isaac was soon doing around 4 miles a day most days, sometimes up to 6. He was massively inspired by Sir Tom Moore and asked a lot about how he could also help the NHS.

When the restrictions eased in the Summer, he undertook some bigger challenges and we completed a few 8 and 10 milers (usually because we got lost 😂). We did many of these in North Yorkshire. Isaac often asked when we could climb one peak or another and the idea of a sponsored 3 peak walk was born.

Isaac has challenged himself to walk all three during May!

The Charity:

Historically hospitals have always relied on public support, even after the founding of the NHS; Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Hospitals are no different.

The charity's mission is to raise money to help the Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital do more to ensure every patient receives the best and most modern care possible.

Your support will help provide additional specialist equipment and support services, as well as aid the transformation of spaces and facilities within the hospitals for patient and visitor comfort alike.

About the charity

WISHH stands for Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals. We fundraise to complement and enrich the services and facilities at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospitals, over and above what can be achieved by the NHS alone, for the benefit and comfort of patients and their loved ones.
